This was one of those nights at the Greek Theatre you wished the seats were removable. Hot Chip headed up a Tuesday night dance party, playing the highlights from their new album “Why Make Sense?,” a slew of catalog favorites and winding up with covers of Bruce Springsteen’s “Dancing in the Dark” and LCD Soundsystem’s “All My Friends.” Even though the crowd was late-arriving, !!! (Chk Chk Chk) rallied those who did come early with set of electronic dance-punk and Nic Offer’s stage theatrics. Offer went into the pit to mingle, and even lamented the fact concert photographers were departing after three songs because he likes being sweaty for the photos. Com Truise opened the night.
