On Sept. 29, Jesus Sons are set to release their second album, “Bring It On Home,” through Mock Records. People talk about this band’s music in terms of beers you should be drinking in a dirty denim jacket or how you should be making out in the middle of nowhere while listening to them. The fact that Brandon Wurtz and Shannon Dean started the band in a San Francisco motorcycle shop adds to the mystique. While the dude vibes are strong on lead single “Randy’s Blues,” you can also imagine girls stomping their feet and drinking outlaws under the table in the dusty fantasy world accessed by the song. It offers an uplifting “let’s all go to hell on a tambourine” sort of encouraging message. Fun fact: They recorded guitars for the album in the shower.
