► Psych-soul quartet Chicano Batman headlines the El Rey Theatre, with Rudy De Anda and L.A. Witch supporting.
► L.A. shoegazers the Black Ryder, breaking from tour dates on which they’re opening for the Jesus and Mary Chain, visit the Roxy Theatre behind their recent release “The Door Behind the Door.”  Vacant Lots and Tennis System support.
► Canadian duo MSTRKRFT head up the party at the Regent Theater, joined by Franki Chan and Tamara Sky.
► Cold Showers rock the Echo, supported by Dunes, Gun Outfit and Hermanitos.
► Downstairs at the Echoplex, it’s Del the Funky Homosapien, with DJ Qbert and DJ Nobdy.
► Tambourines [check out “Daisy”] celebrate their first release on New Professor Music with a headlining show at the Satellite, supported by  Monk Parker and Spurs.
► And Irish power-pop standouts Pugwash visit Molly Malone’s.
