This year’s LA Bluegrass Situation , coming to the Greek Theatre on Oct. 3, is headed up by Dawes , Punch Brothers , the Lone Bellow and Gregory Alan Isakov , and the lineup also features other rootsy L.A. luminaries such as the Wild Reeds , the Dustbowl Revival and Sam Outlaw .
Noisetrade is offering a free download of six songs culled from BGS’s “Sitch Sessions” — live recordings from artists playing the festival. Included: the new song “Run ’n Hide” from the Wild Reeds; the Dustbowl Revival’s “Only One,” recorded live at Union Station; and Sam Outlaw’s single “Angeleno.”
