► Rapper Travis Scott performs a sold-out show at the Fonda Theatre, with Bryson Tiller opening.
► Baio — the solo venture of Vampire Weekend bassist Chris Baio — does his first West Coast solo date behind his album “The Names.” He’s at the Echo, supported by Daniel T x Cooper Saver, Masha and Remy Marc.
► Sacramento duo Blackalicious are back, visiting the Roxy Theatre behind their new album “Imani Vol. 1.” Lateef the Truthspeaker and Lifesausas open.
► L.A. imprint Leaving Records kicks off a three-Tuesday residency at Los Globos, and on the first night it’s Mndsgn, 5 Chuckles (Ras G + The Koreatown Oddity), Swarvy and Yuk.
► Finley Quaye, the onetime wunderkind whose recent woes include getting booted offstage by a promoter in July for giving a lackluster gig, plays the Viper Room.
► And Veronica Bianqui continues her residency at Harvard & Stone, supported by the Creation Factory and the Electric Magpie.
