L.A. concerts for your Saturday…

► LA Bluegrass Situation takes place at the Greek Theatre with a lineup boasting Dawes, Punch Brothers, the Lone Bellow, Gregory Alan Isakov, Della Mae, Jonny Fritz, Dustbowl Revival, Sam Outlaw, Spirit Family Reunion and the Wild Reeds.
► The Fonda’s got The Word who is currently on tour in support of “Soul Food,” their first album in fourteen years. Their set will feature guests Robert Randolph, John Madeski and North Mississippi Allstars. Amy Helm & the Handsome Strangers open.
► Scorpions continue their 50th-anniversary tour at the Forum. Their special guest will be Queensryche.
► Common Kings, whose music is an amalgamation of rock, reggae and R&B, will be headlining Club Nokia.  Sammy J and Tomorrow Bad Seeds open.
► Melbourne’s soulful Hiatus Kaiyote returns to L.A. for a show with Knxwledge at the El Rey Theatre. Haitus Kaiyote’s latest album “Choose Your Weapon” is out now via Sony Music.
► Supersonico, a festival dubbed as “A Cultural Happening,” takes over the Palladium. In addition to a lineup including Ximena Sariñana, Kinky, Mariachi El Bronx, Chicano Batman, and plenty more, there will be DJs, art, vinyl, food trucks and other vendors to go around.
► Broadway icon Idina Menzel does a night at the Hollywood Bowl.
► Maria Taylor, Big Harp and Nik Freitas all get together at the Bootleg Theater.
► And Holly Miranda and Gracie & Rachel team up at the Echo.
