Monday’s L.A. concerts:

Echo in the Canyon brings modern-day luminaries such as Beck, Jakob Dylan, Cat Power, Fiona Apple, Regina Spektor and Jade (Castrinos, ex-Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeroes) to the Orpheum Theatre for two shows (7:15 and 10:30) to celebrate the history of California folk-rock, performing songs of the Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, the Beach Boys, the Mamas & the Papas and Love.
Jamie xx returns for a second night at the Shrine Auditorium, joined by DJ Harvey.
► An Evening in Conversation and Music With John Fogerty (hosted by George Thorogood), at the Troubadour, sees the Creedence Clearwater Revival main man discussing his new book “Fortunate Son” as well as performing.
► Belfast post-rockers And So I Watch You From Afar visit the Teragram Ballroom behind their new album “Heirs,” supported by Mylets and Blis.
Blondfire does It’s a School Night at Bardot, along with England’s Aquilo, Marlon Williams, Rare Monk and Matt Woods.
Kid Cadaver continue their residency at the Bootleg Theater on a strong night that includes Armors, Paper Pilots and Third Vision.
► And at the Echo, residents Kim & the Created are joined by No Age’s Randy Randall, with Sex Stains, Mind Meld and Rat Fist supporting.
