Irish noise-punk quartet Girl Band — in which there are no females — have announced the postponement of their highly anticipated 2015 tour, which included a trip to the U.S.. Included in the scotched shows: Nov. 25 (Observatory) and Nov. 27 (Bootleg Theater) dates.
“This is due to health issues in the band,” the Dublin-based group said in a Facebook post. “… We hope to see you in 2016.”
The band — Dara Kiely, Daniel Fox, Alan Duggan and Adam Faulkner — make improbably visceral, impossible-to-categorize, deliriously abrasive rock, and their debut “Holding Hands With Jamie” came out in September on Rough Trade.
