If nothing else, tonight’s L.A. Buzz Bands Show on KCSN (88.5 FM, streaming at KCSN.org) will get me away from this big bowl of leftover Halloween candy for a couple of hours. The show will have its own treats — new songs from Paper Pilots, Matthew Logan Vasquez, Private Island, James Supercave, Mind Meld and PAPA, plus a nod to three bands doing Monday night residencies in November: Elle Belle, No Win and Summer Twins. And there’s a little something to get you in the mood for the “Peanuts” movie, courtesy of mixologist Henry Pope. You’re gonna like what you hear.
