Los Angeles concerts for the first day of November (did you set your clocks back?):

► The second day of HARD Day of the Dead, with Skrillex, A$ap Ferg, Kamie Jones, Glass Animals, Jack Beats, AC Slater, Juicy J and more, goes off at the Fairplex in Pomona.
► Hanson is doing two nights at the Fonda Theatre — tonight’s a set of “cover songs that have inspired the band” — with Paul McDonald and Carrick opening. Refreshment note: On their current tour Hanson is also launching their own craft beer, MmmHops Pale Ale. No kidding.
► Canadian indie-rockers Hey Rosetta kick off a long tour at the Troubadour, with fellow Canadians Yukon Blonde in tow.
► Kristin Hersh does a night at the Echo; she’s been touring doing musical performances and book signings after publishing her latest memoir “Don’t Suck, Don’t Die: Giving Up Vic Chesnutt.”
► And Thee Commons heads up the “Dia De Los Muertos: Psychedelic Cumbia Punk Edition” at the Echoplex. Joining the fun are Cutty Flam, the Bloodhounds, Brainstory and the Hidden Depths.
