► Grimes plays a sold-out show at the Mayan, with Nicole Dollanganger supporting.
► Singer Ivy Levan, whose album “No Good” came out in August, heads up the lineup at It’s a School Night at Bardot. Also on the jam-packed bill: U.K. shoegazers Cheatahs, Eleanor Friedberger (whose new album “New View” is on the way in January) and Christopher Paul Stelling.
► No Win kick off their free Monday night residency at the Bootleg Theater, joined by Big Harp, Arjuna Genome and Here Between You Me.
► Elle Belle [see “Failed Dreamz”] has this month’s residency at the Satellite. Adam Tressler, the Rough Rollers and the Fuzzy Crystals play on opening night.
