The identities of the victims in Le Bataclan have not yet been made public. The members of Eagles of Death Metal — Jesse Hughes, Dave Catching, Matt McJunkins, Eden Galindo and Julian Dorio — are safe, having rushed offstage after gunmen entered the back of the hall and opened fire during the show. California rockers Deftones, who were scheduled to play three shows at the venue beginning tonight, had left the Bataclan 15 minutes before the attack.
Update: One of the victims is feared to be Nick Alexander, who was selling merch for EODM. Update: Now confirmed.
Update: A Cal State Long Beach student was among the victims, the L.A. Times reports.

Eagles of Death Metal have canceled the rest of their European tour, and Deftones will return home as well, according to reports. U2 canceled a Paris show scheduled tonight. Foo Fighters, who were scheduled to play Paris on Monday, canceled their tour as well, issuing a statement that said, in part: “In light of this senseless violence, the closing of borders, and international mourning, we can’t continue right now.”
Two hours after the attack, Eagles of Death Metal posted this statement on their Facebook page: “We are still currently trying to determine the safety and whereabouts of all our band and crew. Our thoughts are with all of the people involved in this tragic situation.” As of this morning, there has been no update.
