Wednesday’s L.A. concerts:

Shining a Light: A Concert for Progress on Race in America brings Bruce Springsteen, Sting, Zac Brown Band, Eric Church, Jamie Foxx, Rhiannon Giddens, Tori Kelly, John Legend, Miguel, Pink, Jill Scott, Ed Sheeran, Sia and Pharrell Williams to the Shrine Auditorium. The concert will air Friday on A+E’s networks.
► Singer-songwriter Ryan Bingham headlines the Regent Theater behind his acclaimed new album “Fear and Saturday Night.” Get there early for Jamestown Revival and Gold Star.
► Electro-pop singer Halsey lights up the Fonda Theatre, with Flor supporting.
► Noise-punk duo No Age holds forth at the Echo, with In the Whale and So Pitted opening.
► Armed with some new tunes, Andy Clockwise begins a two-Wednesday residency at the Hollywood Music Hall.
► Canada’s City & Colour visits the Hollywood Palladium behind their new album “If I Should Go Before You,” released last month.
► With their first album in eight years “Everybody’s Coming Down” just out in August, the Good Life headlines the Troubadour on a stellar bill featuring Big Harp and Francisco the Man.
► And local psych-rock quartet Young Creatures play the Bootleg Theater, joined by Infantree and Dr. Doctor.
