► A little over a year ago, BØRNS was making his live debut [above]. Tonight, he headlines the El Rey Theatre behind last month’s release of his debut album “Dopemine.” Avid Dancer opens.
► Pop singer and former teenage sensation JoJo, who re-emerged this year with three new singles after a few years of label wrangling, brings her “I Am JoJo” Tour to the Roxy Theatre. Aaron Camper opens.
► U.K. quartet the Big Pink do the second week of a free, three-Monday stint at the Echo. Get there early for Elohim.
► Canadian noise-rockers Greys visit the Bootleg Theater, supported by the Two Tens and Bad Bikini.
► Washington state’s Manatee Commune plays It’s a School Night at Bardot, joined by L.A.’s Sego and MUNA. Grace Mitchell, an Oregon native who recorded her recent EP with Mark Foster of Foster the People, makes her L.A. debut.
► Summer Twins continue their residency at the Echoplex, joined by Regrettes, Cutty Flam and Summer Twins.
► And at the Satellite, Elle Belle returns for a night that features Spirit Kid and some special guests — stay tuned for an announcement on the latter.
