Lilys’ 1994 album “Eccsame The Photon Band” remains a hallmark in the shoegaze/dream-pop genre, with mastermind Kurt Heasley achieving some mind-bending ethereal heights. After being out of print for two decades, the album has received a 21st-anniversary re-release on vinyl that includes, according to the press blast, “increased audio fidelity … an enhanced dynamic range with the reordering of songs.” The new video for the song “High Writer at Home,” directed by Stephen Powers (fka the street artist ESPO) and Joey Garfield, uses footage from their graffiti art documentary “A Love Letter for You.” The re-release of the album came via Frontier Records.
