► At the Troubadour, Nashville’s Johnnyswim kicks off the sure-to-feel-good “A Johnnyswim Christmas.” It’s the first of three consecutive nights for the duo’s second annual holiday tour at the Troubadour.
► Together Pangea roars into the Echoplex for a show with White Reaper and Feels.
► Hunny and Gateway Drugs rock the Echo, with Casinos kicking the night off.
► San Diego strong at the Satellite, with Three Mile Pilot, Systems Officer and Pall Jenkins of the Black Heart Procession.
► Seventies punk-rockers the Avengers celebrate the long-overdue re-release of “The Pink Album” with a show at the Bootleg Theater, with Ford Madox Ford opening.
► And folk quartet Boroughs celebrate their EP release at Non Plus Ultra, joined by Andrew and Matt, Natalie Nicoles and October’s Child.
