“You were young and you’d stare / with a reverence unimpaired,” starts the Purity Ring song “Push Pull,” and it was never more true than Saturday night at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall, where the Canadian duo of vocalist Megan James and producer Corin Roddick headlined behind their new album “Another Eternity.” Kicking the show off with “Stranger Than Earth,” the duo played each of the 10 songs on that sophomore album, mixing in songs from their 2012 debut “Shrines.” At the end, James told the crowd, “If you were expecting an encore, then this song is just for you,” before Purity Ring ended with “Begin Again.”
