The hometown stop on Murs’ “Have a Nice Life Tour” was every bit as upbeat as its name suggests, as the 37-year-old rapper, born Nicholas Carter, got the Living Legends treatment from the crowd Saturday night at the Fonda Theatre. The show reached one of its peaks when Murs flashed back to the album “Murrays Revenge” (now almost 10 years old) for the song “L.A.” “First thing I did when I got a record deal was buy season tickets to the Dodgers,” he said. “Put your hands in the air if you love this city like I do. This is our national anthem.” Murs was preceded by KNO (Sadistik, Phantom Limbs and KNO, from the rap trio CunninLynguists), King Fantastic and KEMBE X.
