Monday’s Los Angeles concerts:

► SWIMM kick off their Monday night residency at the Echo, with Part Friend, Sam Setzer and Green Gerry at the Echo
► In the week he would have turned 81, Elvis Presley is feted with a show at the Echoplex, with the King’s music interpreted by the Abigails, Joel Jerome, Paul Bergmann, Rob and Lauren (of He’s My Brother She’s My Sister), the Blank Tapes, Summer Twins, Isaac Rother & the Phantoms, Rachel Goodrich, Bloody Death Skull, Cutty Flam and Bombón.
► Magic Bronson dives into their residency at the Satellite, supported by Booty, Holy Cow and Rywolf.
► At the Bootleg Theater, Omar Velasco [see our interview] has the residency, joined tonight by Pearl Charles and Moke Hill.
► And Long Beach sextet Travesura has the residency at the Wayfarer in Costa Mesa, with Reverend Baron, the Rooms and Cigarette Babies also playing on opening night.
