► Legendary bluesman Bobby Rush visits the Mint, joined by Tul Blues and Ray Goren & the Generation Blues Experience. A boxed set covering Rush’s 50-year career was released in November.
► New York punk duo PWR BTTM rocks the Bootleg Theater, with Upset and Post Life opening.
► Ohio quintet Saintseneca visits the Echo behind their album “Such Thingsm” with Des Ark opening. [Check out “Bad Ideas.”]
► Rising country music singer Granger Smith holds forth at the Troubadour, with Earl Dribbles Jr. opening.
► And Australia’s Matt Corby does a second L.A. show, this one at the Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever Cemetery.
