► Celebrating David Bowie, with guests Gary Oldman, Nikka Costa, Ewan McGregor, Angelo Moore, Gaby Moreno, Eric Dover, Holly Palmer and many more, goes off at the Roxy Theatre.
► U.K. quintet Nothing But Thieves, whose self-titled debut came out last week and who embark on a tour supporting Mutemath later this week, headline the Troubadour, supported by the Wrecks.
► British rockers Wild Wild Horses start a run of Monday shows in L.A. tonight at the Echoplex, with the New Electric Sound and the Weekend Riot supporting.
► With a full-length album on the way, Night Things head up the lineup at It’s a School Night at Bardot, with Donna Missal, Tor Miller and Elline also playing.
► And Monday’s residencies rage on: Adult Books (with Colleen Green, Psychomagic and Mother Merry Go Round) at the Echo; Lena Fayre (with Trace and Lush Guts) at the Bootleg Theater; Pom Poms and the Controversy (with Mothlight and Betty Black) at the Satellite; Bright Missiles (with Steps of Doe, Fan Fiction and Judy Gloom) at the Silverlake Lounge; and the Gromble (with Mating Ritual, the Sweet Sweet Things and the Roaring 420s) at the Wayfarer in Costa Mesa.
