Seafret are the duo of Jack Sedman and Harry Draper, who hail from the small coastal town of Bridlington in the U.K. Their debut album of atmospheric folk-pop, “Tell Me It’s Real,” came out in January, and the video for the single “Wildfire” originally emerged right before Christmas. We missed it then, but since Sunday is Valentine’s Day, it’s worth a look now. The video was directed by Tom Clarkson, and is a re-creation of “The Experimental Generation Of Interpersonal Closeness,” a study conducted by psychologist Arthur Aron in 1997 that set out to establish whether complete strangers could fall in love. Single volunteers were arranged into pairs and asked to work through 36 questions and then stare into each others’ eyes for four minutes. So … dinner?
