Fans of post-punk, shoegaze and noise-pop know that the weekend is never truly over until the notoriously late-starting Part Time Punks night at the Echo wraps. And so it was Sunday night — er, the wee hours of Monday morning — when Austinites Ringo Deathstarr brought their glorious wall of noise to the Echo. Elliott Frazier and gang, touring behind their latest album “Pure Mood” (their fourth), brought along the less-calamitous Expert Alterations and fellow Austinites Future Death. We only regret that we couldn’t enjoy the show with the protagonists in Ringo Deathstarr’s latest video (below).
