► Russian indie-rockers Mumiy Troll, whose new (English-language) album “Malibu Alibi” came out last week, headline the El Rey Theatre. Get there early for the Soft White Sixties.
► Songwriter and vocal powerhouse LP kicks off her residency at the Echo, joined by Josiah, Chelsea Lankes, Nightgown and Lauren Ruth Ward.
► Fell Runner has the residency at the Bootleg Theater, with Easy, Joey Dosik and Golden Daze playing opening night.
► Mating Ritual launches the residency at the Satellite, supported by StaG, Inspired & the Sleep and Uzi.
► At the Silverlake Lounge, it’s residents Third Vision, along with the Rift, the Wrecks, Disco Shrine and Ryan Holmberg.
► Pompeya starts a run of March shows at various L.A. venues with a shot at the Hi Hat that also features I Us & We, Dream Vacation and Bed Bugs.
► And psych-rockers Sea Ghouls play Harvard & Stone along with Iris and Rever.
