London DIY artist Oscar Scheller aka Oscar, brought his indie-pop tunes to the Echo on Wednesday night. Adorned in a birthday crown and colorful cartoon jacket, Oscar serenaded his fans into uplift despite overall sorrowful themes.  While the moody twenty-something may have garnered buzz over his initial laptop-made recordings,  he has since made his way into a proper studio and completed his debut LP, “Cut and Paste,”  which will be released May 13 on Wichita Recordings. Oscar was supported by songstress Colleen Green and Stockholm’s bubblegum-Bjork duo Vulkano.
