Friday night’s show headlined by Athens, Ga., quartet Mothers was like a four-course meal for indie-rock sophisticates. The headliners played selections from their debut “When You Walk A Long Distance You Are Tired,” highlighted by tunes such as the emotional “It Hurts Until It Doesn’t,” with frontwoman Kristine Leschper’s vocals carrying the night.
Mothers were preceded by L.A. art-punks Sego, whose debut “Once Was Lost Now Just Hanging Around” is not to missed, along with Dante Elephante and Cool Ghouls.
