Grungey U.K. rockers Basement capped a rowdy night at the Echoplex on Thursday, doing the supercharged songs from their new album “Promise Everything” while satiating fans tuckered out from a long night of moshing and stage-diving. The most vicious set of the evening belonged to hardcore quintet Turnstile, who had quite an entourage onstage and then a lot of fans, who crawled on, appropriated the microphone and then launched themselves onto the drenched pit-dwellers. (One mic did not survive the abuse.) Defeater and Colleen Green opened the show.
