Photos: Silversun Pickups and Foals at Fox Theater

Last year, U.K. rockers Foals and L.A.’s Silversun Pickups each released their fourth album, one month apart. On Thursday night at the Fox Theater in Pomona, the bands tag-teamed a Coachella warm-up show. Foals started and finished with songs from “What Went Down” (released in August), bookending their set with “Snake Oil” and the title track. They were followed by SSPU, whose 16-song set spanned their career but also started (“Cradle”) and ended (“The Wild Kind”) with songs from last September’s “Better Nature.”
