No surprise that Colleen Green would unveil a new single on 4/20 — that magical date is in her social media iterations. “Green My Eyes” is the first single from a self-titled, six-song EP that the L.A. singer-songwriter has coming on May 13. Green is not trying to blow any fancy smoke rings here; the new single is a chugging, fuzzy pop-punk number that sees her vocals dialed back, and little sweeter, from what fans heard on her 2015 full-length “I Want to Grow Up.” She calls her sound “Ramones-Core,” and, well, there you have it.
