Between their weekend stints at Coachella, U.K. synth-pop ensemble Haelos had their big Los Angeles coming-out party Wednesday night at the Echo, playing the brooding, cinematic music on their debut “Full Circle” to a sold-out room. Or, at least it started that way.

Haelos, boasting three vocalist and two percussions, played all but one song on their debut album, but the show-stealer turned out to be Hayley Kiyoko, who played an electric set to the biggest crowd of the night.

The evening was special for L.A.’s Smoke Season as well, as the electro-soul band built around the duo of Gabrielle Wortman and Jason Rosen, who celebrated the release of their new EP “Ourboros.”
