“Fais moi un bisou magique,” Melody Prochet sang in her song “Bisou Magique,” or “magic kiss,” and three songs into her band Melody’s Echo Chamber’s set Saturday night it would have been no surprise if everybody in the crowd at the Roxy Theatre puckered up. The new Françoise Hardy of psych-pop won virtually every heart in the room, flitting around stage while performing most of the songs on her self-titled debut album, produced by Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker, originally released in late 2012 and slowly gaining momentum ever since. Melody’s Echo Chamber’s Coachella add-on show also featured Blank Blue, the L.A. quartet that just released “Grey,” its first new music in five years.
