L.A. quartet Dorothy release their debut album on June 24, and never have they looked so ready to bang heads. The band — comprised of raven-haired belter Dorothy Martin, backed by drummer Zac Morris, guitarist DJ Black and bassist Gregg Cash — went toe-to-toe with a sold-out crowd at the Echo on Tuesday night, playing almost all of that forthcoming album, titled “ROCKISDEAD.” In all, the foursome played 10 its 11 songs, including the singles “Wicked Ones,” “Raise Hell,” “Dark Nights” and “After Midnight,” before closing with a track from their (now-absent-from-digital-outlets) 2014 EP, “Bang Bang Bang,” a longtime live favorite.

SPELLES and Dead Dawn opened the show.
