At Saturday night’s Weenie Roast, members of the band along with KROQ DJs told the crowd just before 10 p.m. that the Chili Peppers could not perform.

Drummer Chad Smith said via Twitter: “No one’s more disappointed than us that we couldn’t perform tonight. Sending love and a speedy recovery to my brother Anthony.
