King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard’s new album “Nonagon Infinity” is purported to be the first infinitely looping record ever made, each song (including the last and first) segueing seamlessly into each other. The Australian psychedelic rock septet played it that way Friday night — well, except for the infinite part, because the concert had to end sometime — thrilling a big crowd at the Teragram Ballroom.

The crowd was amped up (i.e., beer had been spilled and at least one punch thrown) even before King Gizzard took the stage, and once they did it was just a tsunami of sound and delirium.

Mind Meld and the Murlocs (featuring members of King Gizzard) opened the show.
