Orange County-based Well Hung Heart have a soft spot for that ol’ time rock ’n’ roll. Founded by Greta Valenti (vocals, keys, percussion) and British import Robin Davey (guitar), Well Hung Heart have always prided themselves on their DIY approach. The music is self-released and all videos, including their award-winning web series “Made in 48,” are produced and directed by the band. Being involved with every aspect of the band’s trajectory is working for them. Well Hung Heart have become regulars at The OC Music Awards and have earned a reputation for their stellar live shows propelled by powerhouse frontwoman Valenti.

The core duo brought in drummer Kevin Conroy and now new member/bassist Danielle “Chip” Lehman to round out the lineup just in time for some new material. Their latest release, “Touch The Sky,” has Valenti wailing over Davey’s heavy riffs, with the addition of a Lehman proving to be a fruitful one; as they stick to their guitar rock. The fancy 360-degree video, directed by Valenti for GROWvision Productions, places you in one big party complete with water balloons and confetti. Good to see Well Hung Heart still has a knack for visuals. Now, do we have confetti in our hair?
