The theme of Saturday’s two-headed show at the Echo and Echoplex seemed to be rage early, rest later. The upstairs/downstairs affair, which started in the early evening and ended around 9, was highlighted by a set from Philadelphia’s Modern Baseball, who showed they have game (and their fans know it) by tearing through the singa-alongs from their new album “Holy Ghost.” They are on a tour with L.A.’s own Joyce Manor, whose anthemic punk inspired a lot of sing-alongs as well. Massachusetts’ the Hotelier and Philly’s Thin Lips rounded out the sold-out, jam-packed party.
