Folk-rock quintet The Wild Reeds celebrated the release of their “Best Wishes” EP at the Bootleg Theater on Friday night, with the harmonies that frontwomen Kinsey Lee, Mackenzie Howe and Sharon Silva have worked so hard to sounding sublime. The show has a friends-and-family flavor, with Silva blushing halfway through first song and admitting “Y’all are making me so nervous.” Silva allowed as how her former English teacher was present, but Howe commented that her first grade teacher left her a voicemail to say they couldn’t make it. Now that’s polite.
