Snoop Dogg headlines the genre-spanning lineup for this year’s Labor Day Music Festiva, scheduled for Sept. 5 at Exposition Park adjacent to the L.A. Coliseum.
He’ll be joined by Los Lonely Boys, Poncho Sanchez, the New Orleans All-Star Band (James Andrews, Herlin Riley and Detroit Brooks), the Victor Orlando Orchestra & Funjala and the Dennis Jones Band.
Tickets went on sale this morning; general admission is $20, with a $500 VIP option. The concert is being staged by Working Californians (WCA), a not-for-profit research and advocacy organization made up of a coalition of labor groups, community leaders and policy-makers.
Snoop Dogg recently announced that his new album “Coolaid,” his first rap album in five years, would be out in July, along with unveiling the single (feat. Wiz Khalifa), “Kush-Up.” Snoop kicks off a nationwide tour in July that visits the Irvine Amphitheater on Aug. 25.
