Baaba Maal added to lineup for Sound in Focus at the Annenberg

The lineup for the three-week Sound in Focus series at Century City Park adjacent to the Annenberg Space for Photography is now complete — Senegalese master-musician and cultural warrior Baaba Maal will perform along with Classixx and Brazilian Girls on July 16.

Previously announced for the free, all-ages series were Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros on July 9 and Nas and Wild Belle on July 23.

Baaba Maal released his 11th solo album earlier this year, “The Traveller” and toured this month with Mumford & Sons.

Admission to the concerts is free, but an RSVP is required here — individually, for each show.
