► Dead Meadow bring their epic psych-rock to the Satellite, supported by Cat Museum and Flash Hits.
► Funky Mexican prog-rockers Troker play a free show downtown as part of Grand Performances at California Plaza. They’re preceded by Kneedelus — a live collaboration between instrumental quintet Kneebody and electronic wizard Daedelus.
► Mystery Skulls holds down the party — a kickoff for the Anime Expo — at downtown’s Resident.
► Little Red Lung headlines the Hi Hat, supported by TUFT, Alina Bea and Psychic Love.
► Reggae rockers Tomorrows Bad Seeds hold forth at the Regent Theater, joined by Sammy J.
► And Wam Dingis celebrates the release of their new single “Pink Lime Green” at the Bootleg Theater, joined by Bogan Via and Tetragrammaton.
