In the four years since he put Bowery Beasts in his rear-view mirror, Marion Belle has explored the fun fringes of glam and psych-pop as Fatal Jamz, not releasing enough music but keeping alive the ghost of Ziggy Stardust when he does. The title track to his new EP is titled “17 & Hung,” and Belle describes the twangy, spacey lament as a “kind of ‘Under the Bleachers’/‘Dawson’s Creek’ soundtrack for millennials.” With a nice little the guitar solo to boot. Fatal Jamz’ four new songs are available on limited-edition cassette from Death Records, and another of the new songs, “From the Cradle to the Grave,” appears on the label’s 26-track compilation, “Deathstock II.”
