► It’s a second night of the “Rock Paper Scissors” tour with Sting and Peter Gabriel at the Hollywood Bowl.
► Oklahoma dream-pop outfit Sports visit the Echoplex,n supported by Kid Bloom and Yeek.
► Brooklyn dance-pop duo French Horn Rebellion heads up the lineup at It’s a School Night at Bardot, joined by Frenship, Tribe Society and Sabrina Claudio.
► July’s jam-packed residencies carry on: Valley Queen at the Bootleg Theater (with Bjorn & the Sun, Elijah Ocean and Radio Skies); Forebear at the Silverlake Lounge (supported by Chris Hayzel, Tribal Champagne and Goon); Feels at the Echo (joined by Sex Stains, the Vivids and Traps PS); and TeamMate at the Satellite (along with Jo Livi, Wrenn and Moderns).
