Wednesday’s Los Angeles concerts:
► The salute to the late Allen Toussaint, featuring Dr. John & The Nite Trippers, the Allen Toussaint Band, Cyril Neville, Irma Thomas and Galactic, goes off at the Hollywood Bowl.
► Mandolinist Chris Thile and banjoist Bela Fleck bring their duo tour to the Theatre at Ace Hotel. Or, as Thile posted on Facebook, “Are you a LOMI (Lover of Marginalized Instruments)? Have Béla Fleck and I got a show for you!”
► Veteran Australian rockers the Church visit the Teragram Ballroom, touring behind their 25th album “Further/Deeper,” released last year.
► LUH (aka Lost Under Heaven, founded by former WU LYF frontman Ellery James Roberts and Amsterdam-based artist Ebony Hoorn) play the Echo, supported by On An On and Oyster Kids.
► Oregon singer-songwriter Laura Gibson plays the Bootleg Theater in support of her fourth album, “Empire Builder.” Mark Eitzel (American Music Club) opens, and he’ll be playing some of the songs from an album he just finished making with Bernard Butler.
► And sibling duo Lawrence headline the Satellite in support of their debut album “Breakfast,” with Western Scene opening.
