Eagle Rock Music Festival 2016: Dengue Fever, Orgone, Jungle Fire and more on Aug. 20

The Eagle Rock Music Festival, returning after a one-year hiatus, has announced a lineup including Dengue Fever, Orgone, Jungle Fire, Reverend Tall Tree, Leftover Cuties, Mark de Clive-Lowe, Salt Petal and Paper Pilots.

The free, all-ages festival, along Colorado Boulevard between Eagle Rock Boulevard and Argus Drive, goes off from 4 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 20. There are $10 and $20 VIP options that allow attendees such perks as fast-track entrance, a download of the ERMF mix and a festival T-shirt.

The festival will have entertainment (which this year includes comedy) on eight stages, broken down like this:

Center Stage: Orgone, Dengue Fever, Jungle Fire, Tutu Sweeney and the Brothers Band, Swarvy, Brazilian drum collective Batala and beats from DJ Phatrick.

Locals Stage: WeAreTheBigBang, Sugar Rum Tantrum, Paper Pilots, Salt Petal and The V.U. with beats from DJ Expo.

Subtropical Stage (at Rantz Auto Center): La Chamba, Boogaloo Assassins, Cuicani, Kotolan, Entre Mujeres and La Junta Sound System.

Experimental Stage (on the back patio of Colombo’s Italian Restaurant and Jazz Club): Travis Flournoy (video projections), Mark de Clive-Lowe, Low Leaf and the Ascension Crew, Dhara World Music, GENR8R, Sin Color and DJ Seano.

Americana Stage (in the Women’s Twentieth Century Club): Reverend Tall Tree, Leftover Cuties, We the Folk, Harrison, Lipka, & Winsor and Mostly Kosher.

Family Stage (at Eagle Rock City Hall): Craft activities, Suzy MacReady and the Book She Likes to Ready from Eastside Theater Works, Noches de Trova, Tim Griffin and the Dahli Mamas and Dahli Papas.

Colombo’s Italian Restaurant & Jazz Club: Strangers on a Saturday Night, Edith Crash, Fernanda Ulibarri, Dan Olivo, and Jones.

Comedy Stage (at the Coffee Table): Erik Escobar, Adam Cozens, Helen Hong, Lou Dimaggio, Greg Santos, Amanda Cohen, Joe Sib, Stephanie Clark and Justin Wood.
