► Australian beatmaker Flume, whose second album “Skin” came out in May, does the first of four sold-out shows at the Shrine Expo Hall, with Sophie and HWLS supporting. It’s the first time any artist has sold out four straight nights at the venue.
► Adele returns for another sold-out night at Staples Center.
► It’s the second night of Alabama Shakes and Dawes at the Greek Theatre.
► “50 Years of Jeff Beck” celebrates the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer at th Hollywood Bowl, where he is joined by Jeff Beck, Steven Tyler, Beth Hart and Buddy Guy.
► New York indie-rockers Caveman visit the Bootleg Theater in support of their album “Otero War,” with Henry Wolfe and Maxim Ludwig opening.
► Ben Sollee teams up with Matt Kivel for a night at Resident.
► Transviolet headline the Pop Shop West night at the Echo, joined by Bridgit Mendler and Katelyn Tarver.
► King Washington rocks the Satellite on a night Faulkner celebrate their EP release and Davis also supports.
► And Alexandra Savior [see “Shades”] plays the Hotel Cafe on a night that also features Zarah Mahler, M-Ten Music, the Brandon Brown Collective, Emi Secrest and Jasmin Cruz.
