Japandroids, the beloved Canadian duo who called a timeout in late 2013 after two years of hard touring behind their sophomore album “Celebration Rock,” have announced 10 fall tour dates.

Included: An Oct. 11 show at the Echo.

“Time for us to disappear into the ether for a while,” they announced back in 2013, but apparently the duo of Brian King and David Prowse are rested and ready. No word on whether there’s new music, but the tour starts in their native Vancouver, B.C., on Oct. 5.
