► English singer-songwriter Mike Rosenberg, aka Passenger, does a cozy show at the Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever Cemetery. His new album “Young As The Morning Old As The Sea” will be out Sept. 23. (He recently announced he’ll be back in L.A. next April.)
► Atlanta’s Father plays the Echoplex, joined by Joey Purp, Allan Kingdom and Maxo Kream.
► Bay Area quartet Cool Ghouls, whose new album “Animal Races” lands this week headline Resident, with the Molochs and Salior Poon opening.
Ziggy Marley visits the Belasco Theater.
Courtney Marie Andrews and Johnathan Rice team up for a night at the Bootleg Theater.
► And Bones Muhroni rocks the third week of their residency at the Hi Hat, joined by Jackson Tanner and Dr. Fadeaway.
