► Atlanta trio the Coathangers, last spotted in L.A. opening for Refused in May, headline the El Rey Theatre, with Death Valley Girls and L.A. Witch opening.
► CRX, the new quintet featuring members of the Strokes, Guards, the Dose and the Reflections, make their live debut with a sold-out show at the Hi Hat, with Jacuzzi Boys supporting.
► Cellars headline the Satellite, joined by Children of Pop, Dream Panther and Davis.
► With the new album “Dada Distractions” on the way in October, Portland’s Aan plays the Bootleg Theater, supported by Waterslice and Slow Talker.
