► The Bootleg Theater presents Knox Hamilton’s laid back guitar jangle along with Hawai’s laid back Orange County guitar jangle.
► Mason James (Cerebral Ballzy) and Lissie Trullie’s new collaboration Zipper Club continue their residency the Satellite, along with indie from Geordie Kieffer and Nova Darlings.
► Neo-psychedelic Iowans Mondo Drag join retro rockers Jesus Sons and Slow Season at the Echoplex.
► Eighties-inspired hip-hop from Miknna, Blacktop Queen‘s arena grunge, Van William‘s catchy songwriting, along with Goldford and Nightly make for an interesting mashup of genres at It’s a School Night at Bardot.
► Manhattan Murder Mystery, the Pretty Flowers and Yoko & the Oh No’s bring forth an evening of honest sloppy drunken punky merriment at Harvard & Stone.
► And legendary reggae lions Black Uhuru and Onestey blaze out at Los Globos.
