Monday’s Los Angeles concerts:
► Joseph Arthur headlines the Troubadour behind his latest album, “The Family,” with Reuben Hollebon opening.
► The L.A. debut of the new Strokes side project Summer Moon (Nikolai Fraiture and friends) is the big attraction at It’s a School Night at Bardot. Michl Layne and Lawrence Taylor also perform.
► Electro-soul and funk man Mike Taylor [see “Electric Church”] kicks off his residency at the Satellite, with Cousin Liar and Blond Ambition supporting.
► Gum, the solo project of Tame Impala/POND multi-instrumentalist Jay Watson, plays the Bootleg Theater, supported by Shiny Joe Ryan.
► The Buttertones continue their residency at the Echo, joined by Rexx, Wild Wing and Sea Ghouls.
► And at the free Monday showcase at Harvard & Stone, it’s Dave Cavalier Trio, along with Future Feats and Robbery Inc.
